Blencathra
Sitting at the gateway to Keswick and the Northern lakes, Blencathra is perhaps the most easily recognised Lakeland fell as millions of travellers have journeyed past its imposing presence, leaving the M6 at Penrith and heading West.
Handy for those who cannot make the ascent themselves most of these pictures are from the top of the fell which is also known as Saddleback.
