View From Castle Crag
Castle crag is an extremely popular viewpoint and can be a pain to get to in holiday seasons when a long queue can form at the slate field access point.
Best to avoid it altogether in season and perhaps arrange a visit out of season or if it has to be summer months a late accent may be appropriate, better light too later on with late evening sun lighting up Skiddaw in the distance.
