Ravenglass

A small village on the Cumbrian Coast just beyond the South-western fringe of the Lake District.

The Romans marked Ravenglass as the southern point of the Solway and fortified it against marauding Scots, there are physical remains of a Roman bath house nearby.

Ravenglass is also the home of the world famous Ravenglass-Eskdale miniature railway which provides a fantasy ride into the heart of the Eskdale Valley.
