Seascale Beach
Seascale village lies on the Cumbrian coast due west of Wasdale and is perhaps significant as the accommodation hot spot for Sellafield nuclear plant workers.
As can be seen from this picture a wide sandy beach is easily accessible at low tide but be aware the beach all but disappears at high tide and the vista becomes somewhat less attractive.
This is of course just the village frontage as it presents itself to the beach with some buildings of the power plant visible in the backdrop at left of scene.
