Eskdale has no lake, it doesn't need one as its beauties are of a more subtle and earthy variety. Don't miss 'Giggle Alley' for instance. What? Been and missed it? You'll have to come back!
A great way to visit Eskdale is to drive into Ravenglass village and park up at the miniature railway station, catch the train to Dalegarth in the heart of Eskdale and enjoy a trip you will never forget.
