AP...means Artist Proof and it is normal in artistic circles to have 10% of an issue as AP's. Often, though not always, these prints are used for charitable purposes, in any event AP's are for the artists use and are numbered away from the main issue.

OPEN EDITIONS are not numbered.

The framed prints have bespoke quality frames fitted to them and as anyone who has had a picture framed will know cost upwards of fifty pounds. In some cases the frame is worth way more in monetry terms than the print!

A picture marked as sold means an enquiry has been made and a sale is pending. A picture will become available again if the transaction is not completed within a month. A sold Picture will be removed from the table once the transaction is complete and the purchaser is happy.

Pictures and Prints

I am selling some Gary Hodges framed and unframed prints. Gary is Britains leading wildlife pencil artist and is highly collectable. Put Gary Hodges into any search engine to see current prices.

Why are you selling? .... I here you ask and the reason is a house move which has left me with considerably less wall space than I had. Most of the prints are framed and prints without a frame are marked 'no frame'. Framing is top quality by a professional framer using archival materials.

Do try and see a Hodges print in the flesh as they really are quite remarkable and hold a special aura about them. Request a home visit in Cumbria and mention Hodges and I will be pleased to bring some along.

Buying

I am reluctant to post framed pictures (but will if no choice) so contact me to meet half way or you can pick up from my home or if someone you know is visiting the lakes and can pick up for you or I can deliver in Cumbria. In all cases contact me if you are interested in any of these items.
