Mamiya 1000s medium format camera rock supported. Mamiya 80mm prime lens fitted with a polariser. Fujichrome RVP 120 roll film exposed for 1/30 second @ f6.8. Scanned file adjusted for composition, levels and colour in Picture Window Pro.

Pillar Rock

A view of Pillar which rises out of the Ennerdale Valley from Red Pike with Buttermere over my left shoulder, hundreds of feet below. The scafells can clearly be seen in the centre backdrop.

Perspectives can be deceptive as Pillar looks to be higher than Scafell Pike which is of course England's highest.
