Looking towards Wasdale from the summit of Haycock. Illigill Head with its near vertical scree slope running into Wastwater is visible on the middle horizon.

Technical Observations:

A 1B or Skylight filter is fitted here as a lens protector. I fitted these to all my Canon FD prime lenses and rarely took them off,even when fitting other filters as in this case. I just stacked them up.

Digital camera shots are RAW. Film camera shots are scanned from slides or negatives and resulting digital files are adjusted for sharpness, composition, levels and colour on a computer using digital darkroom software.
