Cat Bells

Rising out of the Newlands Valley which can be seen off to the right of this view.

I would think Cat Bells is the most attempted hill walk in the Lake District situated as it is within easy reach of Keswick it looks deceptively easy from ground level. Perhaps a good starter fell walk but be aware in places it can be quite tricky.

In all cases do not attempt to walk any fells unless you are reasonably fit, are wearing walking boots and have access to waterproof clothing.
