Grand Turk at Whitehaven

Whitehaven harbour in 2000 with T.S. Grand Turk tied up. After the success of the first maritime festival held in the summer of 1999 which drew in hundreds of thousands of visitors Whitehaven received a plethora of visits from sailing vessels. The cage was well and truly rattled and Whitehaven was on the maritime map.

A prime wide angle was used set at a middling aperture for top quality.

Digital camera shots are RAW. Film camera shots are scanned from slides or negatives and resulting digital files are adjusted for sharpness, composition, levels and colour on a computer using digital darkroom software.
